As constellation facilitators we recognize multidimensional dynamics involving the entanglement of personal, family, organizational, and the history of our societies. As Organization Development practitioners we start this workshop with questions from our experience in traumatized organizations. What is the role (or mandate) of a systemic consultant in systems that are stuck in trauma? We invite you to reflect with us on how to approach these client systems, what kind of presenting conflicts show up across leadership, management, teams, staff, the environment, and in the life of the OD practitioner/ team?  How do we recognize and work with defense mechanisms in ourselves or the client system?  We can discuss aspects of these complex clients such as if leadership styles offer clues as we assess willingness and capacity of leadership for change. Time allowing, we will be prepared to use constellation principles to take a brief systemic look at a case together.

 Learning outcomes
- Apply constellations principles to the re-enactments of patterned dynamics across traumatized systems
- Reflect on experiences in the group and ask what we could do differently
- Recognize and work with defense mechanisms
